1. Pollsmoor mess, Cape Town

Situated in the heart of Pollsmoor Maximum Security Prison, restaurant Pollmoor Mess is said to have a pretty decent menu.

2. Modern Toilet, Taiwan

What started out as a small toilet themed ice cream shop – selling ice cream in containers that resembles squat toilets, quickly elevated into what is now known as the Modern Toilet Restaurant. The success of the restaurant, which has several divisions opened in Taiwan, is owed to its humorous spin on washroom facilities and continuous innovative developments.

3. Dick’s last resort, Las Vegas

If you have any inclination for listening to sarcastic remarks from waiters, watching pranks pulled from across the table, and even getting involved in some dark-humoured jokes during your meal, you’ll feel right at home at Dick’s Last Resort. The restaurant’s official site posted that their atmosphere will make you feel as if you’re temporarily breaking the rules and getting away with it.

4. Dans De noir, London

5. Chill out Cafe, Dubai
