Another bizarre Australia story...

Broome - Ever heard the saying, "there's no such thing as bad publicity"?

Something should be said about the news coverage relating to Australia lately. Not too long ago, a giant mango monument was stolen in Bowen, Australia. Prior to that, a Qantas Boeing 747 airliner carrying 370 passengers was grounded as a snake appeared to be slithering on the plane.

Now, as if flying snakes and missing fruit stories aren't bizarre enough, a crocodile has been found surfing the waves of Cable beach in Broome.

The beach was cleared of beach goers soon after the 12-foot (3.7m) long reptile was spotted on Saturday, and that it lingered on the beach until the next day. Locals distressed about the situation, took to twitter to express their thoughts:

No reports of how the crocodile entered and exited the beach was issued.
