Dingo steals tourist's bag

A British tourist found herself in a bit of a pickle after a dingo stole her bag containing cash and jewellery on an Australian beach.
eTN reports that witnesses told police they attempted to warn the 58-year-old woman that the dingo was approaching her on Jimmys Beach, north of Newcastle, but that she remained put.
The animal was photographed as it disappeared into dunes carrying the bag.
Police found no trace of the bag or its contents.
Acting Inspector Matthew Maroney said the animal, identified by its markings, had been the subject of several complaints in recent months and had now been shot and killed.
"The offending dingo was photographed by witnesses and was clearly identified as having one leg predominantly white," he told the ABC.
"The offending dingo was located and euthanised with a single rifle shot."
