PICS: Join the 'Topless Tour' revolution

2014-05-27 13:59
Let's all just admit it: travel photography can be pretty boring.

Especially if it comes down to one of these two things (which it always seems to do): people posing in front of some significant structure or people posing against the backdrop of a breathtaking vista.

Nice for the first five photographs or so, but after that... well it gets a bit monotonous.

However, three adventurous young women have started a new, risqué craze: topless travel pics.

Yes, you read that correctly! But don’t worry, it's not too salacious – they’re all taken from behind.

Daily Mail reports that Olivia Edginton, Lydia Buckler, 21, and Ingvild Marstein Olsen, 20 have won thousands of fans with their 'The Topless Tour' project, encouraging girls and guys across the world to join in on the fun.

The trio of dance students explained they are not aiming to be controversial with their project and that they haven't gotten into any trouble just yet.

According to Olivia it's all very symbolic and about opening your heart to the world.

The Topless Tour was established in Christmas 2012 while the girls visited Ingvild's hometown of Brumunddal and were taken for a walk around nearby Lake Mjøsa, the largest in Norway.

They have gained more than 8 000 followers on Instagram and their Facebook page is  on over 5 000 likes.  Check out a few of their pics below:
