See some of the most peculiar names for towns around the world.
All the world's rudest place names can now be found on one map, thanks to the efforts of one immature Londoner.
The Telegraph reports that Gary Gale , a geo-technologist and self professed geek with a life, felt inspired to collect all the world's most puerile place names in one giggle-worthy online anthology.
Gary's creation goes by the name of "Vaguely Rude Place Names of the World" and can be viewed at http://maps.geotastic.org/rude/. It contains hundreds of hilariously immature road, town and village names all plotted on an eye-catching map.
Examples include Wankie in Zimbabwe, Slut in Sweden, Shit in Iran, Tampon in Reunion and Poo in India.
Then who would have guessed there's a Philippine town named Anus, a Cambridgeshire hamlet called Six Mile Bottom, or an Indonesian settlement known as Semen?
Gary's website states: "I've had a lifelong love affair with maps since discovering the Harry Beck map of the London Underground on the back of the London A-Z street atlas at an early age."
This expression of his love for infantile comedy is sure to provide like-minded souls with hours of entertainment at their desks.
