Best bucket list travel

2013-06-18 12:25
If you're a keen traveller who likes to share tales, tips and trifles with other wanderers, you should head on over to Twitter every Tuesday for Travel Talk on Twitter, also known as #TTOT.

Taking place every week at 11:30 (SA time), the chat is run by a few of the world's top travel bloggers, such as Travel DudesRoni Weiss and Runaway Juno, and aimed at getting travellers from all over the world to sharing their experiences.

How it works:

A new topic is introduced every week, so to stay in the loop by keeping close tabs on the TTOT Facebook group.

The discussion takes the form of five different questions related to the topic and will be numbered Q1 - Q5, with a couple of minutes for responses to each. In order to respond to a specific question you will start your answer with A1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, of course including #TTOT so you're included in the stream.

Follow News24Travel on Twitter, so we can chat with you too! You can also tell us about your Travel Tips in the comment section below OR send us your answers/tips/comments to

Today's topic: Best Bucket List Travel

Check out our favourite answers to each of the five questions:

Q1: What's the #1 item on your travel bucket list - the one thing you absolutely can't miss?

Q2: Most people think bucket list = places. What non-traditional items are on your list? (i.e. activities, food, etc.)

Q3: If money was not an issue, where's the 'must visit' place on your bucket list?

Q4: Have you ever been disappointed by a bucket list item and what was it?

Q5: What is the most "extreme" place on your bucket list? Why?
