The world’s got more than 99 problems but is the name of a mountain in the centre of Cape Town one of them? Here a News24 Travel reader who prefers to remain anonymous shares her view on the proposed name change of Devil's Peak by a pominent Chirstian group.

"I am certainly appalled by this outrageous request to rename a mountain. It's so ridiculous that christians want to change Cape Town landmarks for their own selfish reasons. There's nothing harmful about the name Devils Peak.

It will only be insecure christian activists who would find fault in these things. Its so frustrating that everything which has no literal relation to their beliefs, gets thrown under the bus. I don't understand why its ok for them to dictate everything.

I am a spiritualist, I do not believe in a devil and all this fear provoking characters that guilts people into being sheep. I just want people to use their own intellect. Stop focusing on names of monuments, tv shows and movies. They protest everything. Even artistic freedom.

I am completely against changing the name of something so profound to the city of Cape Town. Next they will change Skeleton Gorge. This is unacceptable."
