In travel talk on Twitter today, we delved into the topic of touring vs. independent travel.

We discussed our worst, weird and wonderful travel moments, which is where we stumbled across our chosen photo of the day.

World explorer and blogger, Gemma Fottles, is captured stroking the back of a lion in Zambia’s Wildlife sanctuary.
Gemma, who has travelled to over 25 countries, used this very image to illustrate one of her most memorable travel moments, and we think it's amazing.

For more of Gemma's adventurous travel moments, go to gemmafottles.com, or follow her on Twitter.
