My husband John Beaumont travels from Australia via Dubai to South Africa – 1st February 2014 John passed through the Australia Airport Immigration by producing the necessary documents required by them – happy were they that all his documents were in order and he could proceed.

The problem started here:- Dis-embarked @ Dubai Airport – but when he got to the Dubai Immigration they would not let him board the plane – as much as he tried to give them all the proof they demanded of him, they were adamant he had to have a return ticket to Australia – John being an Australian Citizen now married a South African.

He was forced to call me in South Africa to contact relatives in Australia to send a return ticket to a contact @ Dubai Airport – The ticket arrived but had to be on stand-by for the next available flight which was 24-36hours away. We understand if it’s Airport rules, but ARROGANCE and RUDENESS I don’t think is part of Client Services/Respect. John arrived and a very ill man back in South Africa.......but hey who cares!!!!!!!

SO MYSELF JOHN AND THE REST OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN AND AUSTRALIAN FAMILY WILL NEVER EVER WANT TO SEE DUBAI AIRPORT EVER AGAIN!!!!! IT IS NOW A RULE IN BOTH THE SOUTH AFRICAN AND AUSTRALIAN FAMILIES TO AVOID DUBAI AIRPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER EVER DUBAI AIRPORT. Not a very nice experience at all !
