Cape Town – Imagine if you could deliver beautiful long stemmed roses to any address (in Cape Town) to your special someone using your smartphone. Well, give your imagination a rest because that’s now possible, thanks to mobile app, Uber.

What is Uber?
Uber is an on-demand private driver service that allows users to summon a black car using a
mobile phone. Available on iPhone, Android, Blackberry 7 and on mobile site, riders can access Uber by signing either online or on their respective platform.
The Valentine’s special allows you to send a bouquet of twelve long stem red roses by NetFlorist, a pink promo card and an optional personalized verbal message.

How does it work (Valentine’s special)?
•    Download and activate your Uber app on your smart phone
•    Once the app is opened, tap the rose option on the screen
•    Tag the delivery location, request the delivery, and follow all other prompts
•    Once that’s done, users will immediately get a phone call  to personalize verbal messaging for delivery

This Valentine’s service will only be available on Friday, 14 February from 10:00 – 20:00, so plan wisely.
