Cape Town - Conde Nast Traveler has released the results of their 2013 Readers Choice Awards and Cape Town has once again managed to shine, ranking 11th on their list of top 25 cities in the world.

The Mother City shares the 11th position with Bruges in Belgium and the Conde Nast website states: This "marvelous destination with much to see and do" scored high for its culture and atmosphere. Readers like Cape Town because you'll find "an ideal mix of nature, coastal, mountains and beaches with excellent restaurants at reasonable prices."

Both Cape Town and Bruges received a reader rating of 82.3

Interestingly enough cities like New York, Paris and London didn't make it into the top slots, but instead a few wildcards like San Miguel De Allende in Mexico, Charleston in South Carolina and Siena in Italy featured. No less than three Italian and two Austrian cities made it into the top 10, with Europe dominating the list.

Below is a list of the top 15:

1. San Migue De Allenda, Mexico
2. Florence, Italy
3. Budapest, Hungary (joint second with Florence)
4. Salzburg, Austria
5. Charleston, South Carolina
6. San Sebastian, Spain (Joint 5th with Charleston)
7. Vienna, Austria
8. Rome, Italy
9. Siena, Italy
10. Quebec City, Canada
11. Cape Town, South Africa
12. Bruges, Belgium (joint 11th with Cape Town)
13. Vancouver, Canada
14. Kyoto, Japan
15. Prague, Czech Republic
