Free entry for TMNP's 16th birthday

2014-04-30 08:57
Cape Town - Table Mountain National Park will be celebrating its 16th birthday on Thursday, 1 May 2014 and everyone's invited!

The park announced in a statement that as part of the celebrations they will be inviting all South African citizens to enter Oudekraal, Perdekloof, Silvermine and Newlands Forest's picnic and braai sites free of charge.

Entry into each site is limited as there are only so many people the Park can accommodate and visitors are expected to present their green bar-coded South African ID book to gain access.

The offer unfortunately excludes free entry into the Cape of Good Hope (Cape Point), Boulders Penguin Colony and Tokai Forest picnic site.
