Cape Town - Following the enormous success of a series of talks by famed Anglo Zulu War story-teller Rob Caskie which were held at this world class resort last year, One&Only Cape Town presents a series of inspired winter talks by a group of enigmatic personalities and adventurers.

If you ever needed a reason to be more adventurous, check out one of the following between May and September as you enjoy  a multi-course buffet dinner at Reuben’s.

9th and 10th of May: Riaan Manser, the "Out There Adventurer of the Year” 2006 and 2009 winner has re-written the definition of tenacity and became the epitome of courage and determination. Let him inspire you with talks about his trip around Africa on a bicycle.  Manser took an astonishing two years, two months and 15 days to become the first person to travel through 34 different countries experiencing war-zones, jail time in Equatorial Guinea to mention a few. Listening to his story is indeed worth a while.

4th and 6th June: Rob Caskie is an award-winning professional speaker famously known for bringing explorations and battlefields to life, Rob Caskie. With him, he brings his expertise and extensive knowledge in the historical Anglo Zulu War. His passion and awareness for the Anglo Zulu War is out of this world and he is one of the experts you will most probably enjoy his skill in story telling ability.

18th and 23rd of July: Chris Fallows is among the speakers out to ensure you’re looking for more. He has penned a book termed, ‘Great White and The Majesty Sharks’ which sold over 25 000 copies, the writer has worked with National Geographic, BBC’s Planet Earth etc. With almost 50 documentaries having filmed him, this is surely your perfect opportunity to listen and witness these fascinating feats of nature.

4th and 10th September: Men’s Health Unsung Hero Award for 2010, Braam Malherbe will narrate the ultimate extreme endurance expedition he undertook with Peter van Kets representing South Africa in a Scott/Amunsden centenary race to the South Pole, which they undertook in 2011. They managed to cover 768 kilometres and 120 kilometres acclimatisation trek at -40 degrees Celsius.
