Langebaan resort upgraded

Cape Town - Club Mykonos in Langebaan, Western Cape, has refurbished its property and facilities.

Tourism Update reports that more than R100m was spent on renovations over the past three years. This included upgrades to the children's play centre, wellness spa, dining areas, casino and conference centre.

The resort has also renovated 200 of its 241 units and added an information centre for guests.

Part of the resort's investment included security upgrades, the addition of a boatyard facility, extending the private marina and refurbishing the jetties.

The renovations were initiated when Club Mykonos General Manager, Jon Kilroe-Smith, was appointed in 2010. "As with any brand reaching adulthood, there's a need to constantly innovate and invest in order to keep fresh and relevant," said Kilroe-Smith.
