Popular N2 farm stall hit by devastating fire

Cape Town –  Peregrine farm stall, situated along the N2 outside Grabouw, has been devastated by a fire, Die Burger reports.

One of the family owners Muriel Burls said the Red Tractor restaurant had been completely destroyed, but commended the quick response of the security on duty and the fire department as it could have been a lot worse.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.

The farm stall, built in the early sixties is easily identifiable by the big red tractor at the entrance fo this popular N2 road trip pitstop.

Also located at the site is the Elgin Valley Tourism Office where you can learn more about the region and find out about what to see and do, the Sithanda Plants for indigenous flora, Duncan’s Roses and Sleeping Beauty Traders for décor items, furniture and gifts.
