2013-05-08 09:20

Check out these Beliebers who've been waiting at the One and Only in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for hours hoping to see the Canadian superstar, Justin Bieber. WATCH

Cape Town - A groupie of Justin Bieber fans have been spotted outside the One&Only Hotel at the V&A Waterfront - where the Canadian pop star is believed to be staying.

The Cape Argus reports, a group of about 40 girls sang and chanted “We want Bieber” in hopes of having the star come out to sign autographs for them.

A convoy of Mercedes-Benz vans with tinted windows pulled up to the hotel, chaperoned by traffic vehicles, further persuaded the fans that they’d seen their idol.

A silhouette of a person with a haircut that matched Bieber’s stood by a window on the top floor of the hotel sending them into a screaming frenzy.

According to the report, one 'Belieber', booked a room at the cost of R4 000 at the five-star hotel. A total of R10 000 was spent by the fan in the hopes of securing a meet-and-greet with the star.

The latest tweets from the star's twitter account about his arrival in South Africa:
