Suicide car bomb kills 10

Tikrit - At least 10 people were killed and 22 wounded when a suicide car
bomber blew up his vehicle after penetrating police headquarters in
the Iraqi town of Tikrit on Thursday, police said.
"It was a suicide car bomb. A man claiming to be police showed
up at the entrance and was allowed into the compound. Then he
detonated," a police officer said.
"We have 10 dead and 22 wounded," he said.
"Eight cars are in flames and the building is severely damaged,"
he said, adding that the blast occurred at around 09:30.
Tikrit, the hometown of deposed Iraqi president Saddam Hussein,is 180 kilometres north of Baghdad.
