London - British police carried out a raid on Wednesday in the town of Aylesbury, just north of London, in connection with investigations into last week's bombings in the capital.
Police said anti-terrorist officers searched a house in Aylesbury, a commuter town just north of London, with backing from the local Thames Valley police.
"A detailed forensic examination is expected to be carried out and may take some time to complete," said a police statement, adding that there had been no arrests.
The raid was "in connection with the ongoing investigation into the terrorist attacks in London" last Thursday in which at least 52 people died, it added.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley police said "an ongoing operation" was taking place in Aylesbury, but he could give no further information.
