Sarajevo - Authorities say a train slammed into another one at a busy downtown intersection in Sarajevo, injuring some 45 people.

Irfan Nefic, Sarajevo police spokesperson, said on Friday experts are still investigating the causes of the accident.

Witnesses say the crash was so intense it knocked out the handles people were holding on to.
