Ahead of 9/11, Taliban vow to keep fighting

Kabul - The Taliban say the will keep fighting against US forces in Afghanistan until all American troops leave the country.

In a statement sent to media on Saturday, the Taliban say they had no role in the September 11 attacks and that the US and its allies were responsible for killing thousands of Afghans during the invasion and ensuing occupation.

The United States and its allies invaded Afghanistan on October 7 2001, after the Taliban, who then ruled the country, refused to hand over Osama bin Laden.

At the time, the late al-Qaeda leader was living in Afghanistan, where the terror network had training camps from where it planned attacks against the US and other countries.

Refused to hand over? FACT: They asked for proof of his involvement first! Imagine, the weakest nation on the earth standing up to the strongest. How many have stood up to the US? Not only that, the Taliban are busy teaching the big Bully a lesson. In another world, history would regard them as fearless and honourable warriors, with their nation behind them. O hang on! Wasn't it so during the Soviet war?

Absolutely correct! They offered to hand him over to stand trial, if they could show any evidence he was involved. But then the sheep will believe anything fed to them by the lying media.

Not only that, they have since made sure that Bin Laden will never be able air his side of the story, with all their amazing judicial system.

In Vietnam, United States military intervention managed to reduce the civilian population by about two million. Iraq is fast catching up because of their agression.
