Washington - A former CIA official was charged on Monday with leaking classified information to journalists, including the name of a covert agent and the interrogation of a top al-Qaeda operative, the Justice Department said.

John Kiriakou, who served with the CIA between 1990 and 2004, was charged with violating a law that makes it illegal to disclose the identity of a covert officer, and lying to a CIA publications review board, the department said.

Indeed. The only reason the service man feels bad is because he got caught. Illegal war in an illegal occupation of yet another sovereign country. The most evil organisation on earth is not some terrorist group, some group of paedophile satanists or Manson followers: it's the US government.
