London - A court document shows that British spies can help themselves to raw data gathered by the National Security Agency and other foreign intelligence partners without a warrant.

The acknowledgement is carried in a two-page document released on Wednesday as part of a lawsuit pitting a coalition of British rights groups against GCHQ, one of the country's intelligence agencies.
