Dog blamed for car crash
Copenhagen – A dog tethered by its owner to a car's gear lever was believed to have been the cause of a road accident, Danish police said on Tuesday.
The dog's 76-year-old owner had parked the car and tied the dog's leash to the gear lever, while on an errand.
The dog - unsurprisingly - did not sit still and jogged the gear into neutral, causing the car to roll down a slope before it came to a standstill against a stonewall and wooden pole, police said of the accident in Kirke-Saby west of the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
No one, including the dog, was hurt in the accident.
