Earthquake shakes Chile
Santiago - A 5.1-magnitude earthquake has shaken residents of Chile's capital, but no damage or injuries have been reported.
The US Geological Survey reports that the earthquake occurred on Saturday at 04:28 (07:28 GMT).
It was centred in the Chile's metropolitan region, at a depth of 66.7km.
The University of Chile's seismological service measured the quake as stronger, with a 5.3 magnitude.
The Chilean government's national emergency office says no injuries or damage have been reported, and basic services have not been affected.
