Egypt blasts: 2 Car bombs

Jerusalem: Two car engines were found by the Taba Hilton hotel, Israel Radio reported on Friday morning, leading to estimates that two car bombs were used in the attack on the hotel on Thursday night.

A suspicion that a suicide bomber was also involved in the attack was being investigated.

The death toll from the attack on the hotel rose to 24 on Friday morning. Another two people were reported killed in an attack at the Ras-al-Sutan resort shortly after the hotel was bombed.

Most of the dead were Israelis who were holidaying at the two locations, the radio said.

Officials involved in the rescue efforts said 38 people were still missing. - dpa
