Engineers killed in car blast

Karachi - Three Chinese engineers were killed and 11 others injured in a blast in southern Pakistan on Monday.

The engineers were travelling by passenger van to a port they were helping to build in Gwadar, on the Arabian Sea coast near the Iranian border, when the blast occurred at around 09:00.

"Three Chinese are dead while six others are seriously injured among a total of 14, which also included some Pakistanis," said Dr Masood Ahmed, director of the Gwadar Civil Hospital.
