Jerusalem - A Jewish Israeli taxi driver is to be indicted on manslaughter charges after driving a Palestinian suicide bomber to a bombing last month where he killed five Israelis, say reports on Tuesday.
Two Arabs Israelis had also been arrested by the Shin Beth internal security service over their involvement in the attack in Netanya on July 13, which was carried out by the radical Palestinian movement, Islamic Jihad.
The lawyer for the taxi driver, Kfir Levy, said while his client acknowledged to have regularly driven illegal Palestinian workers into Israel, he was not aware that he had been driving a suicide bomber.
David Zilberman said: "If he had known that he was carrying a suicide bomber in his vehicle, he would have done everything possible for him to be arrested."
