Iran frees Solvakian 'nuclear spy'

Bratislava - Iran has freed a Slovakian man it arrested in January for allegedly spying on its nuclear programme, Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak said in Bratislava on Friday.

"I'm not a spy," said Matej Valuch, who appeared at Lajcak's side.

The 26-year-old arrived back in his home country on Thursday, accompanied by the Slovakian consul in Tehran.

He refused to give further details about the circumstances of his arrest.
