Iraq arrests 3 Kut 'bombers'
Baghdad - Iraqi security forces on Wednesday arrested three people in connection with multiple bombings in the city of Kut the previous night, which left 33 civilians dead and 85 injured.
Rapid response forces, using intelligence data, carried out the arrests at two separate locations, said Aziz Amara of the Iraqi military.
Among the dead in Tuesday's bombings were three women and two children, medical sources said.
Kut, located 170km south-east of Baghdad, is a predominately Shi'ite area.
