Paris - Up to two people will spend one of the year's creepiest nights in one of the world's creepiest places this Halloween: the Catacombs of Paris.

In an unusual marketing ploy, apartment hosting website AirBnB is offering a one-night stay for up to two people in the Catacombs in an online contest.

The "lucky" pair will have a bed, and breakfast is included. Somewhat predictably, amenities do not include a gym, wireless internet or cable TV.

But it's not all doom and gloom: The evening also includes a "culinary experience", private concert and storyteller. "Finally, enjoy dawn with the dead, as you become the only living person ever to wake up in the Paris catacombs," AirBnB says on its website.

Catacombs are underground tombs. The Catacombs of Paris are believed to hold the bones of about 6 million people, many of which were brought to the underground passages and stacked to make space for fresh corpses in the city cemeteries.
