Obama advisor tired of critics
Washington - President Barack Obama's top counter terrorism advisor says he's tired of lawmakers and others criticising the administration's actions concerning the Christmas airliner bomb plot.
John Brennan says some in Washington are using national security as a "political football" for partisan purposes. He says they're trying to micromanage the case with a "800km screwdriver" that stretches from the Capitol to the scene of the attack in Detroit.
Brennan says the FBI and other counter terrorism officials acted appropriately in the arrest and questioning of the suspected bomber.
Brennan spoke on NBC television's Meet the Press.
