Washington - President Barack Obama says the US must continue cutting its crime and incarceration rates by reforming its criminal justice system.

Obama met at the White House on Tuesday with lawmakers from both parties who are working on criminal justice issues. Among the 16 lawmakers were Republican Senator Rand Paul and Democratic Senator Cory Booker.
