Police defuse bomb in Spain
Palma De Mallorca - Spanish police say they are defusing a second bomb on the resort island of Mallorca, after an earlier explosion blamed on the Basque separatist group, ETA, killed two police officers.
A police spokesperson in Madrid says the second bomb is in the same beach resort area of the Mediterranean island where the two officers were killed on Thursday.
That attack was the second blamed on ETA in less than 36 hours. A powerful car bomb on Wednesday destroyed police barracks in the northern Spanish city of Burgos, injuring about 60 people.
Spanish news reports say the second bomb was also placed underneath a police vehicle but authorities could not confirm it.
