Saudi princess absconds without paying

2012-06-02 17:49

Paris - A Saudi princess was caught trying to leave the Shangri-La hotel in Paris without settling a €6m bill for her rooms, police said on Saturday, confirming a report in the daily Le Parisien.

Maha al-Sudani, the former wife of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Nayef ben Abdel Aziz, tried to walk out on 03:30 on Thursday without paying for her suite and those of her 60-strong entourage, prompting staff to call in police, Le Parisien reported.

The Saudi Arabian ambassador was also contacted during the incident, added Le Parisien, which noted that Sudani enjoys diplomatic immunity.

When contacted by AFP, the luxury hotel's director Alain Borgers said that that are "no problems" with its clients and "no unpaid bills" at the moment.

The princess has already had previous run-ins over unpaid bills. In 2009, fashion chain Key Largo went to court to obtain €89 000  owed by the princess.

How doff do you have to be, to think nobody would notice you walking out the front door with your 60 minions in you entourage. HELLO. Mabey she should go back to happy princess land and ride her unicorn.

I'm currently in Saudi and it's anything but a happy princess land with sparkly unicorns. Instead it's dust, heat and freaking scary camels. Wouldn't surprise me if she did this for attention.

We can all count 123 , hmm. Next we have CR credit , DB debit. One is - the other is a + . Say 180 days (6 months) times that's multiply 20.000 (twenty thousand) = 3,600,000.00.mil. Now she paid 10,000,000. (ten million) in advance. Refund about 6,400,000.00 ( six million). She may have left the six million as a tip. Hmm. Very funny, Saudi women allways pay their bills. Perhaps you never met one.. Please correct me if my calc is incorrect.
