London - A Saudi royal is to stand trial for murder in October after a judge at England's central criminal court refused him bail on Thursday.
Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir Bin Abdulaziz al Saud, 33, is accused of strangling a man to death in a plush central London hotel on January 22.
He was remanded in custody Thursday at the Old Bailey court in London and will face trial on October 4.
His father, a nephew of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, was in court as judge Brian Barker turn down the bail application.
The body of 32-year-old Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz was discovered at the Landmark Hotel last month. He was said to have been an aide.
