Paris - A second hostage-taking has been reported in France at a kosher grocery shop in Paris, with the suspect in a previous shooting on Thursday believed to be involved, French media said.

Gunshots were reported, with at least one person injured, according to several media outlets.

The gunman is believed to be a man police had been searching for in connection with a shooting in the French capital on Thursday, which left one policewoman dead.

Authorities had initially said there was no link between that shooting and the attack on the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine, but the newspaper Le Point reported that the suspects in both cases had links with the same jihadist network.
