Jerusalem - An Israeli settler-soldier who shot dead three passengers on a bus in an argument about the imminent pull-out from the Gaza Strip was lynched in the aftermath of the shooting, said police.
The 19-year-old soldier, who came from the hardline settlement of Kfar Tapouakh in the northern West Bank, opened fire on the passengers during the row on a journey between the northern Galilee town of Shfaram and the coastal city of Haifa.
Five other passengers were also injured, three of them seriously, said police.
