Sumatran tiger kills Indonesian zoo worker

Jakarta - A zoo worker in Indonesia died after being attacked by a Sumatran tiger, reports said on Saturday.

Jaenuddin, a 32-year-old cleaner staff at the Cisarua Safari Garden in West Java province, died late Friday of wounds from the mauling, police chief Hadi Santoso told vivanews online portal.

The Sumatran tiger is listed as critically endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
