Mandalay - Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi has consulted with a doctor at a large campaign rally after telling the crowd that she wasn't feeling well.

A member of her party, Sanda Min, says Suu Kyi has been working very hard and is a little weak.

The 66-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate flew from Yangon to Myanmar's second largest city, Mandalay, on Saturday and spoke for about 15 minutes to a crowd that filled a vast field.

The pro-democracy leader told the crowd "I am not feeling well" but didn't give details.

After the speech she met with a doctor who travels with her.

Suu Kyi is campaigning for April elections.
