Teen gets life for rape

London - A 13-year-old boy in Britain was ordered detained for life Friday for raping his teacher.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was 12 at the time he raped his teacher last November during a one-to-one session at a special needs centre.
Afterwards, he stole her car and drove it for 50km before dumping it.
The boy, who has severe learning difficulties, admitted at an earlier hearing to the rape at a centre in Durham, north England, and the car theft.
Announcing the sentence at Teesside Crown Court, Justice Geoffrey Grigson said: "These problems are not of your own making but it is plain that until these problems are dealt with you are very likely to commit other offences, other offences as serious as this, so the public has to be properly protected until such time as your problems have been assisted."
