Two held for Oklahoma shooting spree
Washington - Police early on Sunday arrested two suspects whom they believe are responsible for a shooting spree that claimed three lives and injured two people in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A police department official told AFP that the suspects taken into custody in a neighbourhood just north of Tulsa were identified as Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32.
Court records showed that the two men have been charged with three counts each of first degree murder, along with weapons charges.
At least two other victims were injured in the apparently random shootings on Friday that took place in a predominantly African American section of Tulsa.
Officials have said they are investigating whether the incidents were a hate crime, since both of the suspects are white and the victims black.
