Two dead in shooting near US university

College Station - Police say at least one law enforcement officer and one civilian have been killed in a shooting near Texas A&M University's campus.

Assistant Chief Scott McCollum says the gunman also was shot on Monday before being taken into custody.

McCollum say the officer killed was a constable with Brazos County.

He says a College Station police officer and another woman also were injured in the shooting.

Texas A&M has nearly 50 000 students.

      Do you really think criminals will ask permission "to bear arms"? Law abiding people have firearms and do not abuse or mis-use them. Criminals will find firearms or whatever it takes to do their evil deeds, as is clearly shown all around the world. Many many crimes committed with illegal and stolen weapons.

      nothing about illegal firearms,you can walk in to any kmart in the us and buy a semi automatic firearm.
