US soldiers in sex web scandal

Washington - Seven soldiers from the United States army's elite 82nd airborne division have been charged with engaging in sex for money on an internet website.
According to a US army statement, three of the soldiers were charged with pandering, sodomy and "wrongfully engaging in sexual acts with another person while being filmed, with the purpose of broadcasting over the internet for money".
The three soldiers face possible court-martial.
The four other soldiers have received administrative punishment for lesser violations of military law.
According to the US army statement, these charges include underage drinking, drunken driving and being intoxicated while on duty.
The four have had their rank reduced to private, have been given 45 days extra duty, fined "one half month's pay" for two months, and recommended for discharge.
