WW II Focke Wulf wreck found
Caen - The wreck of a German Focke Wulf fighter plane was discovered in Normandy, France, on Wednesday, only days before ceremonies commemorating the Allied Landing during World War II in 1944 were due to take place in the area.
The skeleton of the pilot was found alongside the wreckage together with a revolver, the remains of a parachute and a badge, according to the mayor's office of Quilly-du-Houley near Caen.
