London - A 26-year-old woman was killed when she was caught in the crossfire between two gunmen in a south London residential street, police said on Wednesday.
Police said they believe the woman was hit in the head. Officers found her at 18:20 (17:20GMT) and she was declared dead at a hospital an hour later, police said.
Three men and a woman have been arrested, but no weapon has been found, police said, adding they were investigating whether the shooting was drug related.
Britain has less gun crime than the United States but a spate of recent shootings has set off a national debate over gun violence.
