Woman quits over celeb info leak
London - Virgin Atlantic says an employee tasked with looking after the airline's celebrity clientele has resigned following newspaper allegations she fed information to a paparazzi agency.
Britain's the Guardian newspaper and the Press Gazette reported on Thursday that they had seen emails apparently detailing a Virgin insider passing high-profile flight bookings to picture agency Big Pictures.
Neither named the Virgin employee, but the Guardian said she had declined comment.
A man who answered the phone at Big Pictures hung up when an Associated Press reporter identified himself as a member of the media.
Emails sent to the personal assistant of the company's founder, Darren Lyons, weren't immediately returned on Friday.
