You can't stop our nukes - Iran

Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday defiantly told world powers they could not halt the Iranian nuclear programme, despite moves by Europe and the United States to impose UN sanctions.

"The great powers have tried to prevent our people from achieving their rights in nuclear material," he told reporters at a news conference.

"With the help of God and the resistance of the people, Iran is completely mastering the nuclear fuel cycle and time is playing in favour of Iran. Many countries have agreed to live with an Iran that has mastered enrichment.

"This year I hope will be able to have the great celebration of the nuclearisation of Iran," he added, without elaborating.

The United States accuses Iran of seeking nuclear weapons, but Tehran insists its atomic programme is aimed solely at generating energy.

Israel was created from 52% of the land formerly occupied by the Jewish and Palestinian people (mostly the Negev Desert) and Palestine 43%. Jerusalem fell into neither territory. The Palestinians with their unelected autocratic neighbors declared war on Israel the very next day. In the 1960's they even invaded Israel twice. Full military invasions. The result: Israel survived and pushed them back, gaining territory in the process. This is the origin of what you call the occupied territories. Israel gained that land as a rule of war. She was invaded, managed to survive, and pushed the invaders back. She got to keep the gained territory. A rule of war. There have been almost daily attacks on Israel by the Palestinians since then, incited by their self-serving unelected backers, who thankfully are being removed by their own people now. Palestinians even teach their children at Kindergarten to attack Israel, rather than be peaceful. Children. Kindergarten. From day one, and even today it's wage war on Israel. It's been more than sixty years with the same result. They play a tragic victim-marty game in which the more they can get hurt by Israel in Israel's acts of self-defense, the more they garner pity from people who are not insightful to look deeper and see what is really going on.
