Rome - Italy's police is no longer searching for a man suspected of having played a role in Friday's multiple terrorist attacks in Paris, one of its officers said on Monday.

Earlier, ANSA reported that patrol units in northern Italy had been told to look for a black Seat Ibiza car driven by 32-year-old Frenchman Baptiste Burgy.

"We have no evidence of the passage, or of the presence of that vehicle on Italian soil," Molino said.
