Southport – A woman was attacked and had a large piece of her cheek bitten off by another woman at a friend’s house party in Southport, England.

The 26-year-old mother of two, Kate Nield, was drinking at her friend’s house party when a female party-goer reportedly showed increasing signs of aggression the more she drank.

Daily Mail reported that the attacker was eventually asked to leave, but she returned to the house and started attacking Nield, biting her face.

“She was like a raving lunatic. She bit me and took a big chunk out of my face. There was blood everywhere,” Nield told Liverpool Echo.

A friend of Nield’s managed to pry off the attacker during the attack.

Nield was taken to Southport Hospital and then to Whiston Hospital after the incident where a skin graft procedure was performed on the victim.

Daily Mail reported that skin was taken from the back of her arm and placed onto the damaged part of her face.

“It is the sort of thing that only an animal would do. I just want everyone to know what an animal she is and that she can’t get away with doing that to somebody,” said Nield.

No arrests have been made yet.
