Islamabad - Pakistan's security agencies have arrested two more African nationals on suspected ties to al-Qaeda, according to reports from local daily, Dawn.
The names and nationalities of the men were not released, although Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat told press that they were "high value targets" and that one of the men "had a reward of millions of dollars on his head".
In another report, Dawn claimed that Ahmad Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian al-Qaeda operator who was found with the two South African citizens being detained on suspicion of al-Qaeda links, has been handed over to United States authorities, who have taken him to an undisclosed location.
Hayat said the information received during the interrogation of Ghailani, had led to the two new arrests.
